The Bacon Aquatic Center opened in June of 2007, after a hugely successful fundraising campaign. The combined Bacon Aquatic Center/Gillette Park Renovation was a $4 million project, of that amount over $3.5 million was raised through contributions by individual, business and industry donors, and several grants.

The aquatic center holds 293,000 gallons of water, contains a 23' high, 136' long open flume water slide, a 23' high, 82' long enclosed water slide, 12' high and 4' high diving boards, a designated kids area, a sand play area, concession stand, 6 large canopies and over 35 lounge chairs, picnic tables and lockers.

Hours: 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily
Lap Swim: (18 & above) 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
