About Us:
Careage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare of Cherokee is a 44 bed facility located in the heart of Cherokee, IA. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is looking for excellent candidates to help us in achieving the best care possible for our residents. We are looking for a motivated individual willing to alternate in our Dietary department between Cooking shifts and Dietary Aide shifts.
Job Duties Cook:
- Prep food for meals
- Serve meals according to diets at meal times. Experience with IDDSI diets a plus.
- Clean up dishes
- Store and label all foods properly
Job Duties Dietary Aide:
- Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
- Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
- Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
- Discard leftovers and take out garbage
- Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
- Potential for growth if open to learning the cook position as well.
