Construction Superintendent – Commercial/Industrial Projects
Specializing in Municipal Water & Aquatic Facilities
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent with extensive experience in commercial and/or industrial construction—preferably with a background in municipal water treatment or pool facility projects. This leadership role is essential to the successful on-site execution of our projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
What You’ll Do
As the on-site leader, you will be responsible for managing daily field operations and directing crew activities. You will:
Lead and supervise field teams, assign tasks, and ensure work is performed in the correct sequence.
Provide guidance and training for new team members and reinforce jobsite safety practices.
Maintain daily logs, labor records, and SWPPP documentation, and oversee inventory to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on schedule.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, trades, project managers, and design professionals to keep work progressing smoothly.
Plan and manage daily and weekly schedules to avoid conflicts or delays in workflow.
Act as a key point of contact on site, upholding project goals and ensuring jobsite discipline and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of verifiable supervisory experience in construction, ideally with experience in municipal, water treatment, or aquatic facility projects.
Deep understanding of commercial/industrial jobsite management, scheduling, and trade coordination.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Proficient in maintaining field reports and documentation related to safety, labor, and environmental compliance.
Certified Crane Operator or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
