Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early intervention, literacy education, and childhood development.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages social-emotional growth and behavior management strategies.
- Engage with children through interactive activities, including physical education, arts and crafts, storytelling, and play-based learning to enhance their overall development.
- Help with toddler care routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times while ensuring health and safety standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational frameworks suitable for preschool-aged children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community focused on child welfare and classroom success.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials, organizing activities, and maintaining a clean and safe learning environment aligned with childcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education.
- Experience working with special education needs or early intervention programs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Certification or coursework related to early childhood education or Montessori methods is advantageous.

Pay: $10.00 – $11.50 per hour
