Qualifications:
• High School Industrial Tech teacher certification.
• Prior Job experience (if necessary or preferred)
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may
find appropriate and acceptable

Reports to: Principal

Job Goal: As an industrial technology teacher, your responsibilities involve
teaching students how to use engineering and manufacturing tools like soldering
irons, water jet cutters, drills, and power saws. Your daily duties include giving
lectures, grading written assignments, and administering tests.

Performance Responsibilities:
1. Explaining safety procedures to students and closely monitoring the class to
ensure compliance at all times.
2. Discuss student progress with parents and administrators.
3. Emphasize practical and hands-on work, and may also include subjects like
computer drafting, 3D printing, and robotics.
Terms of Employment: Compensation to be established by the board of
education.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the principal and
superintendent.
