Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our facility. This role is essential in ensuring that all guest areas are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards in cleaning and service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules that optimize staff productivity while ensuring thorough cleaning practices.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance metrics and supply usage.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred, with a focus on custodial or industrial cleaning environments.
- Proven track record in housekeeping management or supervisory roles, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, guests, and management.
