North Star Community Credit Union in Cherokee, IA, is looking to hire a full-time Human Resource Manager.
The Human Resource Manager works under the direct supervision of the President/CEO and is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the human resource functions of the credit union. Regular emphasis, as needed, will be in areas such as policy development, recruitment strategies, orientation of new employees, employee training & development programs, employee relations, employee benefits administration, wage/salary administration, performance appraisal programs, organizational development, record compliance, reports and statistics, counseling, etc. Ensuring all HR programs comply with state and federal regulations. Secondary within the HR function are responsibilities pertaining to the overall physical safety and security of credit union practices and properties concerning employees, members, and visitors.
Education Requirement(s): College Graduate plus additional HR certifications and trainings [Necessary and required certifications and trainings may be pursued and earned on-the-job].
Experience Requirement: Current or previous work and/or educational experience in the areas of HR management.
