LaPointe Utilities Inc. is a full service underground utility contractor specializing in the installation of telecommunications, cable television, fiber optics, conduit, and manhole systems.

We are now hiring general laborers! We currently have construction projects we are working on in Northern Iowa and are now looking for laborers to work on a crew in Cherokee, Iowa. For crews that are working out of town, we pay for lodging during the work week and are home on weekends. Typically, our crews work 40+ hours a week.

Compensation is determined on experience and work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Duties: Duties include (but not limited to): potholing utilities, filling in dirt potholes, preparing product for installation, restoration of disturbed ground after utilities are installed, job site clean-up, & general labor.
