Overview:
Join Marcus Lumber, a fourth-generation family-owned retail home improvement center established in 1920. We value teamwork, quality service, and an organized work environment. As a Yard Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers, maintaining the yard, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties:
– Assist customers by answering inquiries and loading materials in the yard.
– Pull material lists accurately and safely as per office instructions.
– Load Marcus Lumber trucks promptly to meet delivery schedules and secure outbound loads to comply with DOT regulations.
– Operate yard equipment such as forklifts and cranes proficiently to move materials.
– Unload trucks, organize stock items, and mark non-stock items appropriately.
– Clean and organize the yard regularly to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills:
– Experience with loading/unloading materials using a forklift.
– Ability to work as a part of a team
– Ability to lift 75# daily
-Understanding of general building materials a plus.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7AM to 5PM
Saturday rotation 7AM to 12:00 PM
