Full job description
What will you do?
- Batch, mix, and route feed according to specified formulas and procedures.
- Properly weigh all premix and short mix additions per established formulas.
- Monitor product quality and adjust equipment accordingly. (particle/pellet size and quality)
- Monitor drug inventory usage in accordance with FDA regulations.
- Accurately complete and maintain assigned reports, logs, and documents.
- Communicate and coordinate batching schedule and production with appropriate personnel to maximize total plant efficiency.
- Follow GMP’s, Quality Control Manual, and established plant procedures while monitoring the process for finished bulk and bagged feeds.
- Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Must have a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
Other Skills that will help you succeed:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience and/or training.
- Obtain a Class A CDL with required endorsements.
