Parts Assistant

Reports to: General Manager

Full time employment: Hourly Wage. Full Benefit Package

Essential Duties: Parts Assistant

Customer Service

1. Greet customers entering the store,

2. Look up Parts, and complete customer sales.

3. Answer the phone and direct customers to the proper person.

4. Assist customers with Stihl equipment purchases.

5. Assist the Parts Manager with inventory control and management.

6. Maintain Parts area, face shelves, dust etc..

Process incoming Parts Shipments. Documenting shortages or shipping errors.

1. Submit Daily and Weekly Parts under the supervision of the Parts Manager.

2. Put away stock ordered inventory, and stock shelves

3. Special Parts Orders: Prepare Customer invoices and contact the customers.

4. Pull parts for the Service technicians, give parts to Service Writer for allocation on Service Orders.

5. Service Repair Parts: Notify the Service Department of parts arrival, update service orders as needed.

Qualifications

• Computer Skills. Familiar with Windows,, Word, Excel, etc…
• Ability to locate, read, and interpret information from equipment manufacturers.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, and technical information
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral or written form.
• Ability to speak effectively, and communicate with customers.
• Knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment, and Compact Equipment Operation helpful
• Valid drivers license, and good driving record required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Job Function: Employees are required to complete their work in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Employees must conduct themselves in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
