Cherokee Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full time Physical Therapist interested in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. The department features a beautiful therapy gym, private treatment rooms, and a warm water therapy pool.
Position:
The position is 40 hours/week with rotating weekends every 6-8 weeks.
Responsibilities Include:
- Administers physical therapy as directed and supervised by a licensed physical therapist in accordance with State of Iowa law.
- Works in a fast paced, rural health system seeing inpatients, outpatients and home health.
- Maintains timely progress notes for patients in accordance with hospital policy.
- Submits appropriate charges in electronic medical record system.
- Collaborates with hospital departments to deliver coordinated patient care.
Qualifications Include:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association)
- State Licensure for Physical Therapist
- BLS
