The Pride Group in Cherokee, IA, is looking to hire a part-time Ride Along Companion.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Ride Along Companion to join our team. This role involves providing support and companionship to an individual during weekly trips to Iowa City. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to manage various situations effectively.

Duties

• Accompany individual on outing, providing companionship and support throughout the experience.
• Assist with conflict management and problem-solving as needed to ensure a positive environment.
• Facilitate engaging conversation to enhance the outing experience.
• Provide services by addressing any questions or concerns from individual during the outing.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with individuals, families, and team members.

Experience

• Skills in conflict management will be beneficial for navigating various situations effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 – $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
