The Cherokee Soil & Water Conservation District is looking to hire someone on a contract basis to do inspections of watershed structures in Cherokee County. The individual would also need to take detailed notes and photograph problem areas, cut trees and bushes, spray weeds, check for plugged tubes and trash in the structures, and check for washouts, erosion, and muskrat holes. These inspections are done once a year and take on average between 34 to 38 hours to complete. The individual must be available on October 10th for a training in Cherokee.
