The goal of the Cherokee Chamber Agri-Business Committee is to bring agriculture and agriculture education to the public. The committee is made up of members throughout the county who represent various commodity groups, business people and volunteers. The group understands and promotes the impact that agriculture has on our county. Each year the committee organizes several events:

Cherokee County Ag Show – Held in February at the Little Sioux Event Center in Cherokee.

Ag Scholarship – The Committee awards scholarships to graduating seniors in Cherokee County who are pursuing an education in an ag related field. The 2024 Scholarship applications are due April 1st.

5th Grade Farm Tour – Organized each September for 5th graders in Cherokee County.
